Condition and Location of Fuel Storage Tanks

I certify that my fuel storage tank and all connected piping are in good operating condition, free from leaks, and installed according to local building code. I understand that I am responsible for any inside damage or leaks, since I am certifying that everything is in proper working condition and has had regular yearly maintenance performed. I understand that you are prohibited from making deliveries in cases where my equipment is not in proper operating order, such as inoperable vent alarm (whistle), PVC piping, or other unsafe or environmentally risky circumstance. I understand that it my duty to keep the path to the Fill clean and clear. I also understand that if a delivery is attempted at my property but my fuel storage system is found to be in an unsafe condition, I may incur a minimum delivery fee.

I agree that when delivery trucks use my driveway and yard to access the Fill, Day & Nite Oil is not responsible for any cracks, settings, marks or tracks. I also understand that in cases of snow and ice, the access/path to my Fill needs to be clear or I am subject to a $50 fee.

Please make sure that your driveway and the path to your fill is CLEAN of any snow and/or ice! We reserve the right to access an additional $50.00 and/or DECLINE your delivery. Thank you for your cooperation!

Payment Methods and Procedures

When ordering fuel, your account is charged (settled) at the time you place your order. Depending upon your order quantity, the amount charged and any credits are determined as follows:

1. If ordering a “Fill”, your account is charged for the gallon capacity of your tank X the price per gallon.
2. If ordering a specific number of gallons, your account is charged for the number of gallons ordered X the price per gallon.

When your actual delivery quantity is posted, your account is automatically credited for any overpayment. You are only charged for the amount of fuel you actually receive. You will receive a delivery ticket from the driver which shows the number of gallons delivered. In addition, once your delivery is posted (usually the next day) you will receive an e-mail delivery notification which contains all details of your order, including your actual cost for the fuel delivered.

If there is a price change after an order is placed, the customer will pay the price per gallon, that fits the pricing bracket agreed upon at time of purchase. This applies to price changes both up and down.

Promo Codes

Promo Code "DANO" may be used only once per family / household / delivery address. Day & Nite Heating Oil reserves the right to request proof of: change of ownership or new lease agreement, if attempts at multiple usage of this promo should occur.

Emergency Orders

"Next Day Emergency" deliveries must be placed by closing of business day (5PM), to be guaranteed for next day. "Same Day Emergency" deliveries must be placed by 10AM on business day to be guaranteed. Normal business days are Monday-Friday.

Cancelling Orders

I understand that once my order is confirmed, and due to the automated nature of our order and delivery system, my order cannot be cancelled. Day & Nite Heating Oil reserves the right to charge a $50 cancellation fee. Any cancelled or refused deliveries will be posted as "1" gallon delivered and will incur a minimum fee of $50.

Driveways

Delivery Schedule

Online Order are usually delivered within 3 business days (excluding weekends & holidays) under normal weather conditions. Deliveries can be done earlier and usually are, but just so we don't over promise. Delivery dates are tentative dates and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible if you run out of fuel and/or your pipes freeze-- plan better, plan ahead. You accept responsibility for your pipes freezing and running out of fuel.
